Career stories for early-career researchers
At this seminar we have the pleasure to hear the career stories of two individuals working within academia, each navigating their own way forward. I’m excited to learn more about the choices and experiences they each had in their career paths until now.
Our speakers are:
Maria Messing is currently Head of the Department Microtechnology and Nanoscience at Chalmers and is Professor at the division of Solid State Physics and NanoLund, Lund University. Maria has moved fast, without necessarily breaking things, along the academic career ladder. Her academic achievements include an impressive publication list in the field of materials science, as well as a deep engagement with networks that support the development of a wider academic community.
