Through invited speakers, this seminar explores the impact and future of Agenda 2030. Drawing on perspectives from research, business and government, we will examine how the agenda has shaped global and local development and consider what may come next. What are the possible pathways if a new, ambitious agenda emerges – or if no overarching framework is established at all? And what role should science play in the discussions to come, shaping the next phase of global sustainability efforts?

The seminar will conclude with a panel discussion in which invited speakers reflect on the future of global sustainability governance. Together, they will discuss the possible roles of a new agenda, what form it might take, and its potential implications for sustainable development in the years ahead.
