GNOMES – The student council for geologists, physical geographers and environmental science students
GNOMES is the student council for all bachelor's and master's students at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences MGeo) and it’s run by students, for students.
The student council represents the students in decision-making boards at the department, as well as at the Faculty of Science through the science union LUNA. It gives students an opportunity to give feedback about their education, contribute with new ideas and suggest ways to make the quality of the education even better. The council also organizes activities for students such as sittings (dinner parties at student nations), coffee breaks, excursions and much more!
Everyone is welcome to attend GNOMES meetings. We would like to hear your ideas, comments and suggestions. You can also run for the positions in GNOMES (chairperson, vice-chairperson, a representative on one of the boards, the social committee ... etc.) during the elections. Join in and make a difference or join us to have fun!
