FIN - Council for research, infrastructure and networks
FIN is an advisory and preparatory body to the head of department and the assistant heads of department on matters relating to the development of research activities and the scientific infrastructure at the department. The Council is to support work on research strategy, based on the strategic plan.
The term ‘scientific infrastructure’ refers to resources such as instruments, equipment, laboratories, computing clusters, research databases and field stations that are used for research and educational purposes.

The Head of Research and Collaboration Support is co-opted onto the Council. The Research Coordinator is attached to the Board and supports it in its work.
