Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences Inauguration
On 27 May, we will celebrate the establishment of the new Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences with an afternoon event, followed by a spring party and an informal dinner in the evening.
Taking place in the Geocentre area, the inauguration will bring together colleagues from across the department, along with invited guests.

Help make the evening a success
Would you like to help out at the spring party? When registering, you can sign up for one of the following roles:
- Prep Crew: help with setting up drink coolers and other preparations before the party, and assist with bringing things back indoors afterwards.
- Music Team: create and manage playlists to maintain the party atmosphere.
- Drink Squad: help with serving drinks and keeping the party lively.
- Errand Runners: take care of small but important tasks during the event.
All volunteers will receive further information closer to the event.
